Linen curtain with silver leaf, 450 x 850 cm, 2017

An eighth occurrence of Edith Dekyndt's Slow Objects welcomes us to the Arsenale: a large linen curtain covered with thin silver leaves is suspended in space. This photosensitive surface of the curtain is subjected to a strong focal light directed towards the ground. Over time, this side of the curtain covered with silver will oxidize, to become very long-term golden, then black.
